Creating a ChatGPT Bot with Zapier
What would a bot that provides business recommendations based on user input be worth to you?
Well, most businesses would be more than happy to spend 1000s of dollars on this as it frees up time for the scaling of the business.
Time is money, the more time you have to scale your business, the more money you make.
And these types of AI chatbots saves business owner HOURS on gathering customer data, which is one of the most importantt aspects of a business.
How it works is when a user fills out a form with their interests and budget, ChatGPT offers personalized business advice and gathers the data for you!
In only a fraction of the time if a human did it!
It also does it 24/7, something a human couldn’t do!
Here is how to set this up:
Create a Landing Page:
Use your preferred website builder or platform to create a landing page or use your existing one.
Design a user-friendly form on this page where users can input their business interests and budget.
Set Up Zapier:
If you haven't already, sign up for a Zapier account.
Once logged in, click on the "Make a Zap" button.
Trigger Setup:
Choose the app that hosts your landing page as the "Trigger App" (e.g., WordPress, Wix, etc.).
Select "New Form Submission."
Connect your landing page account to Zapier and select the specific form you've created.
Action Setup with ChatGPT:
For the "Action App," you'll need to select or integrate ChatGPT.
Define the action event. This would typically be something like "Generate Response" or a similar command that prompts ChatGPT to produce an answer based on the user's input.
Connect your ChatGPT account or API to Zapier.
Map Form Data to ChatGPT:
In the Zapier action setup, map the form fields (business interests, budget, etc.) to the corresponding input fields for ChatGPT. This ensures that when a user submits the form, the data they enter is sent to ChatGPT for processing.
Set Up Response Action:
After ChatGPT generates a response, you'll want to decide what to do with that information. For instance, you might want to:
Store it in a Google Sheet.
Send it via email to the user.
Add it to a CRM.
To do this, add another action to your Zap. Choose the appropriate app (e.g., Gmail for sending emails) and define the action (e.g., "Send Email").
Map ChatGPT Response:
In the action setup, ensure you map the ChatGPT response to the appropriate field. For instance, if you're sending an email, the ChatGPT response might go in the email body.
Now, every time a user submits the form on your landing page, ChatGPT will automatically generate a personalized business recommendation based on their input.

Automating Email Responses
But why stop at just stop there?
We can go a step further by automating email responses. Once ChatGPT crafts its recommendation, Zapier can send an email to the user with ChatGPT's advice.
This ensures that users receive immediate feedback, enhancing their experience and increasing the chances of them taking action.
Here is the step-by-step guide:
Set Up the Trigger:
Choose ChatGPT as the "Trigger App" (Note: If direct ChatGPT integration isn't available, you might need to use a workaround like Webhooks).
Select the appropriate trigger event, such as "New Response Generated" or a similar event that captures when ChatGPT crafts a recommendation.
Connect your ChatGPT account or API to Zapier and set any necessary configurations.
Define the Action:
For the "Action App," choose your preferred email service (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
Select the action event "Send Email."
Connect Your Email Account:
Link your email account to Zapier. This will allow Zapier to send emails on your behalf.
Grant the necessary permissions when prompted.
Configure the Email:
Recipient: Map the email field from the ChatGPT trigger data. This ensures the email goes to the user who filled out the form or made the initial inquiry.
Subject: Choose a relevant subject line
Body: Map the response field from the ChatGPT trigger data to ensure the user receives the recommendation crafted by ChatGPT. You can add additional text or formatting to make the email more engaging.
Other Fields: Fill in any other necessary fields, such as "From Name," "Reply-To," etc.
From this point on, every time ChatGPT generates a recommendation, Zapier will automatically send it as an email to the respective user.

Connect your ChatGPT account or API to Zapier and set any necessary configurations.
Define the Action:
